Country Clock and Clockworks Mini Album

I am very excited to bring this project to you.  The idea came to me a few months ago and I finally had time to finish it.  This is my Country Clock home decor project!  The main body of the clock IS ALSO the mini album.  It is strong and sturdy and packs a bunch of photos.  Here is a 4th of July version of the clock, but it would also be adorable as a "Bewitching Hour" for Halloween, "A Time for Thanks" for Thanksgiving, or "Christmas Time" clock.  Really, the ideas are endless and I  hope to be making another one soon :) Here is the link to the tutorial on my website.  Take a quick tour with me of this album in a you tube video as well.

Inside is my Clock Works  Mini Album design.  In the tutorial, I share how to make this album (written instructions as well as photos for every step).  It has layers, upon layers of fun interaction and movement just like the inside workings of a clock.  There are small and wide belly bands that hold photo slides and journaling spots.  There are flip pages and even extra large pockets for those 4x6 photos.

BoBunny: "Anthem" 6x6 and Noteworthy (and two sheets of 12x12, but I don't remember which ones)
Tim Holtz: clock, gears, and key hole

Summer/Vacation Smashbook Style Mini Album

Ready to go vacation?  Do you have a place to show all those photos you are going to take, or have already taken?  This mini album was designed to hold those 4x6 photos, as well as postcards. Because we spend most of our time playing and taking photos on vacation, I designed this to be VERY simple!

This is also this month's Ladies Night at JoAnn's in Cedar City, Utah.  It will be June 26th from 6-9pm.  There will be plenty of time to embellish this project during that time, as well.  From my recent report, Corprate JoAnn's is closing their classroom and classes here in Cedar City, so this may be your last chance to take any classes locally for quite some time :(

However, I will still be creating projects and mini albums and posting them here on my blog, as well as writing the patterns and posting them on my website for purchase.  I have loved teaching these last 10 years and hope I can find another place to continue to teach locally as well as abroad :)

Made from different colors and sizes of envelopes, and cards.

There is also lots of pockets to hold your pamphlets, tickets, and other memorabilia.

Love the paper line and the beautiful bright papers :) It just screams, "Let's have some fun!"

Here is the same book, but with a summer activities theme... and jump rings for the binding instead of the spiral binding method.

G45-Steampunk Debutante

Here is a set of projects I've been working on a little at a time over the past year ... ish :) They were made using G45 Steampunk Debutante papers.

First, is this organizer that I finished last year.  I designed it to hold my things as I scrapbook and help to keep me organized.  I gave the plans to my husband and he created it out of hardboard.  Then I painted it black and modge podged the papers on.

I have loved the extra organization it provides, but I really love the fun flair it adds to my workspace.

I just finished this album the other day and I love how it turned out.  I will be writing a tutorial for it as well.  I'll let you know when it is available for purchase. :)  Here is the link to the pattern.  And here is a video displaying the project.  The album holds full 4x6 and even 5x7 photographs.

I have placed the charms I was going to hang from the spine in a "safe place," which basically means I can't find them right now. :)

This was going to be the cover of my album at one point in time.  Then I put the project down to work on other pressing projects and forgot my whole idea.  So it ended up being a display picture, but I really love the colors, metal elements, etc.  It was so much fun to work with the G45 papers (which I've wanted to do for a while, but have been busy working on projects for my local classes I hadn't had time).  I have more G45 paper for different seasons and can't wait to pull them out and play!
