The ladies in my swap group did a stick pin swap. Their creations were so amazing, I had to give it a try. Searching you tube for 'how to,' I also came across a bunch of home made pin cushion tutorials. Yah, well ... I couldn't resist :) So here is my vintage stick pin holder (made from the tube center of a dollie thread spool). Could easily use the center of a duct tape roll or can of baby food, frosting, or hot cocoa container.
My stick pins are short. The pins are only 1 3/4 inches in length (actually they are regualar pins for pinning fabric, but I loved the pearl ball on the top). Regular stick pins are 3" or 6". But these are great size for mini albums.
