Vintage Mailbox and Letter Bundle Mini Album

Hello everyone ... I am so excited to share this project with you!  It turned out even more darling than I imagined.  I was hoping to do a Valentines project using the papers from my local craft store, but they never came in ... so I took a different route and decided to go 'vintage.'  The lid lifts open, like a older style mailbox would, and the mini album fits inside.  The mini album was designed to resemble a stack of old love letters!

For those of you who live local to Cedar City, Utah ... this is the Ladies Night for this month, so save the date:  February 13th from 6-9pm.  Sign up at JoAnn's.

For those who do not live locally, the pattern for this mini album and mailbox is available on my website ... there are two purchase options also.  You can purchase the Vintage Mailbox and Letter Bundle Mini album here ... or ... just the pattern for the Letter Bundle Mini Album here.

Papers are DCWV "Dear Jane", key and key hole are Tim Holtz, the rest is extra ribbons from my stash and home made flowers.

As always thanks and happy scrapping!

Mini Album for the Cottage

Here is the mini album that goes inside the Cottage.  It's a 6x6 mini.  I used BoBunny's "Elf Magic" papers.  The pattern for this mini and the Elf Cottage has been written and I will be sending it off to my internet person to be uploaded ... hopefully it will be uploaded in a week :)

This album was created using file folders and opens in a tri fold fashion.
It measures approximately 5” x 6” and is ¾” thick.
The pattern is included when purchasing the Winter Memories Hybrid Mini Album version, shown here, using the Winter Memories Collection.  In this version there are spots for 47 photos and 4+ spots for journaling.  Included, is the written instructions as well as photos on how to construct the album, and all the png files you’ll need to add your photos and print the pages.  These files are also an automatic download.
The digital version is a great way to show your favorite winter going activities for the entire season!

The traditional version is also very compact and thin. It measures approximately 5” x 6” and is ¾” thick. There is room for 21+ photos and/or journaling in the traditionally scrapbook version.

It's a great new year, the air is cool and crisp, and it is the season for snow!

This video shares how to make a quick, easy matchbook style mini.  You can do it up with your traditional scrpbooking supplies, or you can scrapbook it digitally (shown at the end of the video).

Elf Cottage

This was my project the day AFTER Christmas, lol!  So it's kinda late for the holidays.  However, I will be writing the pattern during the next week or so and, for those of you who are local to Cedar City, Utah, I'm thinking about teaching this house for the April class (it would be a 6 hour deal on a Saturday probably).  For those who are local to Cedar City, I AM teaching this cottage and mini album on Saturday, April 12th (time to be announced),  instead of Christmas themed though, I am doing a fairy cottage (look for pictures to come soon and a revised pattern as well).

Door opens and shuts...

There is a mini album that goes in the house as well ... coming soon!

Book Organizers

Supper fun oragnizer idea from Olga Strunk of the Graphic 45 Design Team 2013-14.  I revised it a little bit, but made my own.  I love how the books can stand in a row, however, for those times when I only need the stuff in one of them it's easy access and doesn't take over the whole desk.  Great idea for holding little items for specific projects as well, but looks great.  Thanks for the great idea Olga.

Here's the link if you want to watch it and make your own...
