Mini Exploding Box

This is the DARLING exploding box I recieved from my swap partner, Tamra Merrill.  She also included a box of delicious chocolates and an equally darling banner.
Thank you so much!

I think this was made to hang here in my kitchen ... perfect!

Even though it's petite, it still holds some fun interaction.  I love it!

Valentines Banner in a Frame

Here is my quick afternoon Valentines craft project. Repurposed 5x7 frame, white paint. Frame the scrap paper and hang some bakers twine on the outside with tacks. Hang some stickers on the twine with paper clips. Embellish the corner.  Enjoy!

Vintage Suitcase

Here is the story ...  I created this suitcase to hold my Vacation Smashbook (posted earlier this year), but I never finished it.  This month I joined a challegne to 'create a suitcase.'  I decided it would be a good opportunity to finish it up.  I never dreamed it would recieve the amazing feedback that it did and I am still amazed!  Thank you everyone!  I hadn't written the pattern before I posted it but was compelled to write it quickly, as many wanted the pattern/tutorial.

Thanks again for your support!

The blue, green, and vintage flowers I made using Tamra Merrill method, link to that tutorial is here.

Winter Monster Hats Album

Here's how my Matchbook Mini album turned out .... Love it!  This is FREE tutorial on you tube, showing how to create this album (dimensions included).  Here I have created these pages digitally using my Winter Chills Collection.  Below I have 6 FREE png files for YOU!  Once you've downloaded them, all you have to do is drop in your photos and size them correctly.  Save the file then as a jpeg file and have them printed.  Then add the pages to your album.  Easy as pie!

I choose to add 10 pages to my book (which equaled 20 different pictures), and look how thin it still is.  Click here to get the FREEBIE pages.  Enjoy!

Details!!

This is a mini album I received from my swap partner.  This was her first mini album and I have been so impressed with it!  There is so much fun interaction, dimension and attention to detail.  She put her heart and soul into this project, so I took a bunch of detailed shots to send to her.  I hope she always remembers how much she loves to craft and that 'we do it, because we love it!'  Amazing album Camisha Castle!!

Winter Window Album

My children might as well be snowmen and snowgirls.  When they get home from school they put on their snow suites and head outside into the freezing cold (even with the extra wind chill here) and spend the rest of the evening building snow people, forts, pulling each other on sleds, have snowball fights, etc.  On occasion I actually join them in all this chaos, but most of the time I watch from my 'winter window' and laugh and smile as they play.  This album was made to remind me of all the fun things I watch going on outside my 'winter window' during this cold season.

Link to the pattern (on sale is winter season thru Jan. 31st)
Link to the you tube video showing the project.

The box opens up and the pages flip out to the sides using Laura Denison's "out of the box bindingsystem."  Inside the pages are these fun interactive tags.

Open the page flaps for more places for photos and journaling.

Winter Chills Digital Collection

Winter finally came here in Utah, on Christmas Day! What a wonderful suprise!  I love winter… everything about it … the delicate white snow fluttering to the ground, the red noses on my kids faces, the snowmen and snowforts, tubbing down the hill, and the warm cocoa that greets you when you come inside from all the fun. Around our house, I don’t think a day goes by that my kids don’t spend some part of the day playing in the snow. As a result I get TONs of pictures and I wanted a kit that would ‘have it all.’ So I created the Winter Chills Collection. It has a fun, playful flavor but still showcases the whimsy.  It is loaded with all sorts of fun embellishments for any snowy day activity and 22 designer papers!  On sale this delightfully winter season.

And if you wanna save yourself a little extra time, here I've already made a bunch of titles, tags, and journaling spots in the Winter Memories Extras.

Sled Foto Folio Winter Sled

Here it is, the Winter Sled edition of the Sled Foto Folio.  This is the SAME pattern as the Christmas Sled Folio, but look how different it turned out!  It snowed on Christmas Day (yah!), and my kids begged us to take them sledding.  I got some great photos for this album and can't wait to add them to it.  Again, here is the link to tutorial on my website.  Here is the link to the you tube video accompanying the tutorial.  The video tutorial walks you through the process of how to construct this album, and hope it is very helpful to you .  I used the 3x4 and 4x6 cut aparts, as well as the sticker sheet from this paper line.

Notice the large photo mats tucked into the pocket there.  Great for adding extra photos of your event.

Again, room for more large photo mats there on the right.

These ice skates are from the American Doll clothing accessories.
