Exploding MailBox

I made this mailbox a year or so ago and I'm so excited to finally have a website to post the pattern to :)  The exploding box idea has been around since the Victorian age, but it never seems to get old (I have another pattern for a different one coming in July).  This one has three layers, and a place to add a fun trinket box for some 'kisses', and it is made entirely of cardstock.  There is room for 30 photos or journaling and makes a fun home decor piece as well.
Included in this pattern are the instructions for a Vintage Camera as well (yes, they are the same pattern and the directions for both the mailbox and the camera are in the pattern).  Check that out in my next blog post.

Monster Hats!!!

This winter I decided to crochet monster hats for all my kids ... I ended up making them for my husband and myself as well :) Since then I've had soooo many people comment on how darling and awesome they are that I've decided to make them and sale them. They are between $30-$40 dollars a hat (depends on the goodies you'd like added to it and the size). They are a fun chunky style of hat as well, perfect for cold weather fun. You can request certain colors and I'll do my best to find the right ones. Have fun choosing from eyes, horns, pom poms, curly hair, pig tails, mouths, cheeks, etc.
I have something for everyone!

Take a look at these photos and decide what you'd like to have. Then email me at or call me at 435-327-0165 or Kaylee Tiede 435-720-4143. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the construction and shipping. I have premade white, black, and grey hats on hand for faster processing, if you choose. They have been made in a non-smoking, pet free home (except monsters, of course).

Also, have a look at the simple sizing chart at the end of the photos.

Accordion Pick Pocket Mini-Noteworthy Series Feb 2014

It's a new month and here is the new you tube video for my Noteworthy Series ...
It's an accordion style mini album with lots of pocket choices.
This version is my Sassy Love Notes Digital Paper line version.  I created these pages digitally, then had them printed and pasted them down.
The Sassy Love Notes Digital Files for this album are also available for purchase on my website here.  The pattern comes with all the digital files and the written directions with photos to explain the process.  Just drop your photos in, add some journaling, print them out and paste them to your album.  Easy peezy!

As always you can create and decroate this album the tradition way also.  Here is an example made using papers from "StoryTellers Club."  I added photos of each of the grandkids and had them tell me their favorite memory of great grandma and grandpa.  Needless to say, they loved it and laughed a lot :)
